I LOVE how this turned out! <3 Best thing I;ve done so far, I swear. This is the cover for my new upcoming story/comic, Faeriestone. It's kinda hard to explain the plot, but basically, thief steals faeriestone and escapes to human realm, faerie follows to try and get it back and ends up involved with several people in the human realm, etc. etc. plus she's harboring a few secrets so yah.
Anyways, on to the characters. The main character pictured in the front is Cassandrai, the faerie that attempts to follow and subdue the thief. She's got quite a few secrets she's keeping from her new human friends, but they'll be revealed eventually. Next, the little pirate chibi has a few names. He's either Captain Evil Bamboo, Jeff the Pirate, or just Jeff to those close to him. He's the captain of a flying pirate ship from the faerie realm. He himself is not a faerie... actually, no ones really sure what he is, not even himself! Everyone just knows he's the most dreaded pirate of the faerie oce- er, skys.
The little cat chibi is Jenny-fer, Jeffs klutzy ninja girlfriend. She's a good ninja, but at time she's such a klutz it's hilarious. If you haven't already guessed who the pink haired person is, it's Mariah from beyblade. I needed someone who wasnt a main 'good' character to be the third chibi, so there she is. And Rei *fangirl swuel* I'm so happy he turned out alright. I didn't think he'd look any good in my style but he does ^^; So woot. He and Mariah are the first humans Cass meets when she first enters the human realm.
I'm going to be making this both a comic and a story; meaning one will be written and one will be drawn, but they'll both be the same story. I'll probably be posting the fiction version quicker, as drawing and inking pages will take longer. Anyways, enjoy! I know I loved making this <3
