FYI, maneki neko just means beckoning cat. Maneki neko's are said to either bring wealth or business depending on which paw they are raising. It is rare, but some can do both. This is why they are found in many Asain stores. Maneki neko is based on the cat known as the Japanese bobtail. Again, this pic was inspired by Shunpei.
I don't know what the kanji means, but the second is pronounced 'ryou' which is Japanese coins.
