You did a good job on her, and your colouring looks fine to me, better than what I can do, anyway ^^;

helpful hint for the coloring, if you bear down on the colored pencil more it will help cover the white spaces in between making the colored pencil give more of a "paint" look to it. You will also be more satisfied with your coloring. your shading is great!

Nyuu this picture is very nice. don't be ashamed about coloring. It takes a lot of practice for someone to become masterful. Along the way of learning you'll discover some "shortcuts" that help you achieve the look you want in less time. If it's OK with you, i could give you 2 shortcuts that i have learned about coloring that may help you.
(1) When coloring hair, always use long strokes that match the flow of the hair.
(2) If there is a part of the picture that you would like to be very black (like around the eyes or the center of the eye) go over that part with a black ink pen. (just be careful because you won't be able to erase if you make a mistake.) I even use this short-cut to make the outline of my pictures darker.

Wow, that's good. She looks really cute. ^_^ I don't see much problems with this. The proportions are solid, it has a good texture to it and it's colored well. The only thing that jumps out at me as not right is the color on her face, some of the skin tones look kinda blotchy. This is a very good picture. *Faves*
