Well I am back in business. *laughs* Here's another chapter. This is just one of those chapters where not much is going on... Eragon is just getting his bum handed to him by Brom. *laughs* I think this is the last chapter than doesn't have a spoiler in it... So be careful if you plan on looking at the next pictures I post... They might spoil your innocent minds. :P

The most difficult part had to be those trees. I had a really difficult time getting them to be the right color... The mountains were a bit annoying as well. I think I redrew them a couple times. Hm... other than that... It wasn't too difficult. ^^;

Materials: Drawn by hand HB pencil, scanned and then colored in Corel Painter 8

Wow, I love the angle. Brom is so cool. The trees and mountains look a lot simpler than they probably were, but that's what makes it good art, no?

I really like this picture, but I'm not sure what's wrong with Brom's face. It looks a bit deformed, was that intentional? And perhaps it's just me - maybe it isn't and I'm looking at it odd. -shrugs- Nice job, either way.

Beautiful... Careful you don't work it too dark.... Especially in the foreground, or things that you want to "stick out" instead of recede into the background... If the background is harder to see/less detailed, that makes sense. Try starting lighter and building up for the foreground: really the only feature I have an issue with is maybe Brom's face... If you could make it brighter like Eragon's face... Just a suggestion, but still a terrific picture and awesome composition: the action that just occured is implied.
