I really tried to add the following to my comment, but it didn't seem to save...  I really love the illustrative quality of this picture...  It looks a bit like an ink wash or photoshop in the background, with either black marker or India Ink for the nice clean linear outlines... I love this style!  *faves*

I like his face and the weapon he has. The neutral colors are cool to, and I like looking at all the details that are in the picture. I love it.
