Well here is the last Eragon chapter I will post. I hope you have enjoyed them. I have... but at the same time I am really glad to be finished with this project... it seems like it has taken me a lifetime to complete them.

With how important this scene is in the book, there was no way i could not draw this chapter. So hooray! Durza dies and Eragon is horribly scarred. *laughs*

I actually had a lot of trouble with this scene... I was trying to find an angle where you would see the "action" and also the cut on Eragon's back. (Since it's important) I have to say though... I had a lot of fun working with the scar. I added a lot of purple around it to make the scratch look bruised. I hope that came over well.

Oh and I know in the book the Shade has black armor... I honestly tried to keep it as close as I could... but he looked so monotone... so I added more color to it. Don't kill me Eragon fans.

The background was also a bit of a pain... I wanted to make it blue again... but that looked horrible... so I made it orange and Durza disappeared... In the end... I added some purple and gray and well there you have it. I think it turned out alright. In all honesty... I don't really care much. I am just happy to be done.

Hey Paolini, do you need an illustrator? I know of a good one. Her name's Seifer-sama, and she owns with her mad drawing skillz.

Amazing. I can't find a thing to criticize except for the direction of the cut.

you are a great artist but im sorry i have to critisise... i just finished the first book in the eragon series yesterday and when he feels his scar for the first time it says i streached from his left shoulder to his right hip so it would go diagonally.. still a great picture tho!

I like the cut on Eragon's back. It came out really nicely.

I was really mad that they cut this scene from the movie. It was one of the scenes that ends up being really important in Eldest ... I think the movie people are simply screwed when it comes to Eldest. That cut Katrina, the scar ... Actually when I went to the movie with my friend, at the part when he killed Durza we both started screaming 'AHHH THE BACK INJURY WHERE'S THE BACK INJURY?!?' Then we got a lot of dirty looks because we were after all in a theatre full of people.

But yeah. This is great. Keep drawing. xDD
