Anky (turtle) is much better now. He was very bad off. He trapped himself under some fishtank furniture and couldn't get out. We found him after he had already passed out from drowning and thought he was dead. Thankfully, both my bf and I know Turtle CPR (Blowing into the nose) because we had looked into turtle care online before this incident. After an emergency vet run, 8 hours of an oxygen tank, a visit to a exotics specialist, x-rays, blood work, and some antibiotics to help him fight of pneumonia (which turtles often get after near drownings) Anky is recovering fast.

The great irony is, he was a $15 turtle when he was bought for my bf 20 years ago as a kid. Now we net his worth at about $700 thanks to bills :D

Despite the trauma to him, we hope he can manage another 20 years. He's a cute little guy.
