I got one of the McFarland dragons, and it looked like a more realistic bowser, so I took that idea and draw a picture, but after a strike of inpiration, I redid it to look more like a triditional Japanese painting.

I'm reather happy with it, and think it's one of my best, as dose my mate.

The Legend of Mario is a story I made half way through this picture, and need to clean up a bit. I also might make this into a biger projet, with more sceens of the lagend, with words to go with it. Maybe make a flash movie.

Older Japanese art, the human figure was a little odd. Was what I was going for.

HAH!!! This is sooooo cool!!! It's very original!!! I looove it!
I love how did you draw them, they came greatly!
The colouring on them's very defined and good. Same as the background, but this one has more blank minizones, normal thing when colouring with color pencils...-_-
Oh and maybe...what's the lenght of Mario's sword? It looks little...or not?

Thanks, I tried hard to match the old Japanese painting style, but with my own style. The white around the hand, I think is what you mean, is a glow, not a spot I forgot to colour. I did alot of test stuff in this.

The sword looks odd, cause it's comming toward, not an angle most draw swords in, for the very reason you point out, but I didn't want much focus on the sword.
