well a persocom is a robot that looks like a human being...but  it only does what you programed it to do....it can not love or feel pain sorrow or happiness.......while a chobits is a very rare and legendary robot  that act on they're own free will and are able to feel and love like people can.....(the amine is called 'Chobits")
