Seriously though, I never thought I'd finish this one. However this was one I really enjoyed doing, mostly because it's been so long since my last realistic-type pencil portrait, and in the light of the new POTC films, I think Mr Sparrow deserved a better portrait than the one I last did of him (inwhichhelooksreallystoned*cough*) -_-

Anyways, with this portrait comes my new "not so smooth and scarily neat" style of pencil-drawing... My regular viewers will see what I mean... Um yah kk bye *grins*

It's not actually charcoal; just very soft pencils. ;-) But I can see why you thought it was.

just one thing, though... my art teacher always tells me that "two eyes are always one eye's distance away from each other". i always have a hard time w/ that myself, you know! or maybe it's just that his eyes are a little big... tis an AWESOME pic, tho!!!
