Well.. somehow a new re-make of my old Egyptian Dog here:

and made a final character out of it, named Rasui, which has the egyptian meaning of "dream".
Nothing special, tried to get these curls into his fur as a design part, but I think they are too less visible on there...
Used textures are from Mayang.com ;)

all coloring and texturing done in Photoshop CS2 using a tablet based on a rough sketch.

And YES, it's still supposed to look more like a 2D Cell animation piece than a realistic painting or something similar ;) and also YES it's NOT a jackal it's a PharaohHound...

Aah. I kinda figured he was preparing for some sort of ritual, but ritual, trick, nearly the same thing! By the way, I love the way you capture reflections.
