well, this pic has quite a long story... i did the first original sketch in december 2006, in the school bar, took 10 minutes, and was supposed to be a war horse, it had an angry mean expression. then i copied and improved it, and painted like a lusitano stallion we use to ride. a friend of mine fell in love with it and made me promess i would make one just for her, with my signature and all. more than 6 months passed... i found the original pic a few days ago and remembered my promess. here it is, ready for delivery!!
the real drawing looks much better, but the light wasn't helping when i took the photograph. i had to improve it in photoshop and now it looks a bit artificial. anyway, i hope you like it!!!

oh wow! ur drawings still amaze me! ur shading is fantastic, i wish i was good like that with black and white, im only good for colour lol

but, you know? i totaly suck at colouring! the only way i can colour decently is with photoshop! i guess crayons don't like me... -_-'

It's very well done. The face reminds me of Spirit, which I love the style of. the shading was nicely done as well.

God, this is beautiful, you are talented with horses, each time you get better and better. This one makes me think of Spirit deffinetly, i love the movie ^^

check my gallery! i already have a horse tutorial! though his one only fit's for side view, i'm working in a new one, for drawing horse in other positions and points of view. hope it's useful! ;)
