This took me longer than I'd expected it would... close to nine hours starting from the sketch and ending with this finished piece. I'm not happy with the armbands or the hands, but overall, this came out better than I'd hoped. No background because I just couldn't think of anything for it.
Is this a scene from Paradigm Ethic? It might be. Jason Van-El Kent, Superboy from my Paradigm Ethic series... and god knows what happened, but he's apparently been beaten to crap.
Jason is DC and WB's, but this incarnation of him was designed by yours truly. And yes, his Superboy costume is based on Kon El's, before anyone says anything.
"Sometimes, I tell you, the way that I feel,
I swear that I'm goin' crazy.
Keep tellin' myself it ain't that big a deal;
It's better than pushin' up daisies.
I've felt the arrow from death's fatal quiver
Come so close it actually grazed me.
I've bled the blood and I've felt the cold shiver.
God only knows how he saved me.
There's two dates in time that they'll carve on your stone,
And everyone knows what they mean.
What's more important is the time that is known
In that little dash there in between.
In that little dash there in between."
