I haven't uploaded something on here in ages...

This is Voodoo Girl, a character from one of Tim Burton's poems from The Melancholy Death Of Oyster Boy. Here's a link if you want to read it: http://homepage.eircom.net/~sebulbac/burton/voodoogirl.html
The head and body are little sacks sewn out of an old (washed!) handkerchief and filled with rice. The arms, legs and neck are made from my first ever pair of black and white sripy socks, which are now unwearable so I decided to put them to good use. The heart is made from a little patch of an old red jumper and sewed on. I painted on the face and the black stitches on her body in acrylic paints, with a needle as I couldn't find a paintbrush thin enough!
