I''ve been painting this all day, pretty much non-stop, and my eyes are fried. @_____@
Please please pretty please take two seconds of your life and view the detail here!
Ok! This is another painting that I did that was inspired by a famous artist''s painting - this time it''s Pieter Bruegel the Elder''s "Return of the Hunters."
And by inspired I mean I took pretty much the whole composition, lol. But this one of the few paintings I saw in ninth grade Art History 1 and cared about - it stuck with me for a long time.
And yes, I DID just draw Hitsugaya. Again. *Slinks off*
I did want to change the mood a little - this situation is a bit more threatening than hunters returning. So I changed the sky around; you wouldn''t believe what kind of difference that little strip of yellow sky made.
So is there a story behind this? Why are they out in the middle of nowhere with their swords out and ready? What''s with the dragons? I dunno! Go make something up. I''m gonna get away from this computer, ''cause my eyes are seriously dying.
youve probably been asked this already but i wanted to ask, what else did you use to do this besides photoshop, ive seen that other paintings you did are usin the same thing...and very nice job
I don't get asked these questions too often, so don't worry. ^_^ And, this one is actually all Photoshop. I sketched, colored, did everything in that program. About 99% of my artwork is like that - if it's digital, it's all digital; if it's traditional media, it's all traditional.
ooohhhh, i dont have photoshop, i have to buy it...i think i get what your saying so thank you, and thanks about the icon, a lot of ppl say they like it, and i like your too
Photoshop is really expensive - I recommend either getting Photoshop Elements, or Paint Shop Pro. Paint Shop is a really good program to start out with, and it's afforadble. :)
O_o...you're gonna win for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like, a houndred time better than mine!!!!!!!! ANd the background!!! I love the background!!!!
well i guess then you have bigger chance to get it up on the wall than i do..damn ..damn i swear too much..ohh well...damn...
yeah im louissinclaire..only i dont go too often to dev couse i have no idea what to do with the site..how to make it look better and im too lazy to start to get to know everyone and everything from the start..
Yeah, dA took me a while to get used to - but I also had someone helping me out a lot. ^^;
And yes, yes they are. ^_^ In the original, there's SOMETHING flying around in the background - it even looks draconic. So I just went ahead and made it a dragon. :P
The details are most awesome. You obviously put a lot of effort into this artwork and can see why you like it. I saw your link in iDNAR's art contest in the forums. This pales in comparison to my feeble attempt. Good luck with it and keep up the good work.
