Just some quick photoshop sketches of Kubota from Wild Adapter. I ~adore~ Minekura's style, and I wanted to get better at imitating it before starting to do fanart from her series.
Hmm...he doesn't look so much like Hakkai as he does the messed-up doctor guy with the rabbit. The guy who turns out to be a Sanzo priest...Dr. Jian or something like that. Only without the stubble ^^; more on Minekura's characters looking similar.
Hakkai. And yeah, he totally does. Minekura tends to make a lot of her characters look similar - not that I'm complaining, because the result is that they're all really nice to look at.
