Finally a picture with a decent background. Dont get me wrong shadowlight I think the dragon itself is kick-@$$ and couldn't be more perfectly executed in this medium, but the background really ties it together and makes this one of the only actually finished pieces of work of Ive seen surfing this thing for the past half hour.

WHOA now that's what I call a work of art, I mean the detail is so fricken well done, I've never seen scales that perfect! This has got to be probably one of the best drawings I've ever seen of a dragon. Just wondering what did you use to color because it looks like marker, if that's true I'm even more blown away. *Stares in awe*

I used prismacolor markers and shaded/highlighted with prismacolor colored pencils. Blending the markers is key, and I'm still getting the hang of it.
