Rachel Joy Scott was the first shot on April 20, 1999, The Columbine massacre. She was only seventeen. Rachel is known for her compassion,love, and her deep connection with God.She has inspired me and all Christians around the world. At first she was shot one time on each of her legs and another time in her torso. The assasins went off, but quickly came back and one of them grabbed her by the hair and said, "Do you believe in God?" Strongly Rachel replied, "Yes, I do" The assassin then said, "Why don't you go be with Him then?" and he shot her in the head, killing her. Rachel had led a very Religous life before this. She died for God. I hope if we were in the same position she was in at that time we would all do the same. Rest in peace Rachel Joy Scott. We miss you. :( I strongly encourage all of you whom are reading this read her book: Jornals of Rachel Joy Scott.
