Goo: Ahh!
Terrence: Goo, wait, it's me!
Goo: Ter- Terrence?
Terrence: Yeah.
Goo: My God, you nearly scared the life out of me. What are you doing at Mac's place, in the dark?
Terrence: [Sadly]. . . Waiting for you.
Goo: For me?
Terrence: Yeah. We really need to talk.
Goo: Look, Mac's not here so I should head home and so should you. We'll talk later. In the morning maybe. [She turns to leave] [Terrence grabs her arms and pulls her back to him] Let go!
Terrence: No! This can't wait. You've been avoiding me ever since Mac's birthday party.
Goo: [blush] You were drunk.
Terrence: No, I wasn't. You know I quit after that DUI.
Goo: Well, it was a mistake nonetheless.
Terrence: I told you I loved you, Goo. That wasn't a mistake.
Goo: And I love Mac.
Terrence: Mac doesn't deserve you! Besides, all you are in his eyes is a friend. But look at me, Goo, look into my eyes--
Goo: Terrence, please.
Terrence: --I love you.
Goo: . . .
Terrence: You don't have to say anything. I'm just asking you to listen. I know you deserve someone like Mac, who is kind, smart, responsible, and patient. Hell, he would have to be having me as a brother.
I'm not perfect, Goo, you know that. And you should have everything that I'm not, but I am loyal and devoted and I just hope that that's enough.
Goo: Please, let go. [He releases her slowly and makes so movement as she makes her way to the door to leave] Terr?
Terrence: Yeah?
Goo: It's enough. [She closes the door behind her, leaving Terrence in the dark, but with a smile on his face and light in his heart.]
