You Bishes! gift for Saru_no_Cheesecake

This ish mah gift for Saru_no_Cheesecake! ^^ On the left is Levent Shoushin, on the right is Chase Tansei, both characters from her story "Lost Memory." I figured I might as well do gifts for people I love on this site, and thus ze picceh! <333

I don't much like how Chase turned out, but I suppose this is okay. Look, Lael and Adin made an appearance just for you! ^^ And no, those chibis aren't Levent and Chase- they're my characters, Lael and Adin, who just happen to look somewhat like hers. o.O It's an odd coincidence that both our pairs of characters have a dark-haired, somewhat-angsty guy and a long-haired bluenette. XD If you guys haven't seen Saru_no_Cheesecake's adorable art yet, YOU MUST! =0

Hahaha, your chibis up there are so cute. X3 And I like your close-up pics; then again, I just like close-up pics in general. X3
Also, you did an awesome job with skin tone, making the two slightly different. That's a hard thing to do, but you've done it well here. :3 Just remember: skin tones are made up of much more than just Peach! I usually just lay down peach as my basic-base, then slap on layers of goldenrod and some light brown and even some terra cotta, depending on your brand of colored pencils (Prang for me, heheh) and the skin tone you want for your character. :) Don't be afraid to press down! (Colored Pencils are always erasable, after all.)

Otherwise... a little bit of proportion distortion with the hands. Make sure they don't get too small! But personally, I like the way you draw the hands semi-realistic, with the wrinkles between the joints and all. I've always been a loser at that. >>;

XD I luve mah chibis. I usually use more then one colored pencil for the skin, but skin generally really worries me. o.O I don't want to mess up on it like I so often do. I really will try my best to experiment more in the near future. And yesh, the hands are too small- like other piccehs, I usually notice the faults with this one as soon as I inked it in. >.>
