The guy there is Moises (dunno know how to spell his name in English). The scanner, as always, screwed it up. He is suppossed to be on a rock in the sea, speaking to God.
The English name is generally spelled "Moses". As for your scanner, from what I can tell the Highlights setting is too bright (causing some washout), and the Midtones (gamma) setting should be taken down a notch.
