Awwww how cute! I love Charmander and Chikorita. That's the pair I had for the Pokemon Rescue game for GBA.

I started playing PMD before my bf, so I knew I was Chikorita but I didn't know which one he would be. So I chose Torchic just because I like Blaziken. Then I bought PMD for Cat, and he was Charmander, and he picked Chikorita as a partner and called her Sliv.
