Finally got around to finishing this... uuugh, took me forever and it's a huge smudge-fest half the time.

It's half-oldie work, so I'm dissatisfied with a lot of it, but then again, I like some of it, so I'll let it rest at that. I am really kinda depressed that I couldn't get that whole lighting thing right (don't even ask me what I was thinking; I don't know... u__u; ) so uh, yeah, you might as well pretend the lighting was from the top. >>; (I'm contrast-shy.)

Anyway, still, overall I like the finished piece. Whoo for huge pics. (Sorry.)

Now see this one is amazing, I love the colors done in the background, the flames are beautiful. The character itself is gorgeous. I absolutely love the highlights, and the blending is perfect.

Love it loads, like the pose and the firy background and all that, but... It looks a bit bigger than normal, and there's the purplish shadowing going on, too. Cute character, though!!

I can't articulate flattering comments liek you, but seriously, you deserve them. If not gud for lighting, it's completely awesome for style and shading.

Mm, this is really pretty.

The lighting's actually really good, though the purple in an otherwise really warm color scheme is throwing me a little.

Adding to my favorites, definately.

Mmn, you've got a good point there. But I did the skin and hair months before, then finally dug up the old piece again and finished it in two days, so I guess I forgot about it... thanks for pointing it out. :)
