As I was browsing through the book categories, I noticed very few 'Guardians of Ga'hoole' fanart. So, I decided that I would add some because, for one thing, I'm pretty good at drawing any non-human or non-insect being that flies, and for another, I like this series. If I had a tablet, I'd probably make the scenes look like something from a movie. In the meantime, I'll try my best with the mouse.
Anyway, this scene is from the first book in the series, 'The Capture'. The great-horned owl is Skench, leader of this so called orphanage, located in a granite ravine. I think she's the owl on the cover of the book, which I used for reference.
