hey saltydog, it's fengshui. i took your advice and i posted a comment about it under one of the simple sketches... i think it's three. anyways i wanted to look at some of your work and this is the first one i came across... i really like the concept you used when drawing it... taking it from a magazine cover and making it anime and all... the only think i could see that would help it out would be the shape of the face and the mouth.. they don't look like they flow together and those angles ultimately draw unwanted attention to the neck, which in turn gives me the illusion that is out of porportion, which i can see if i look again that it is not. also, where the very top of the pants are would run more smoothly into the leg line. the legs are awsome! lol you did a great job with them, but as with anime style, the hands could probably be simplified a little bit more, which is always something i try hard to remind my self of, but never do. over all you did an excellent job with the coloring..(what did you use?) and although the forearms could probably be a little bit longer, this is an overall excellent picture, which you could probably sell as a professional commission.
