Well, I mean, it's a picture of Vincent, how can I critique it? I guess I can try... I actually think his smile is a bit overstated. I could imagine a small, almost uncertain kind of smile on his face. However, that's sort of a big change from his normal expressions. Granted, it's just a doodle and is allowed to be OOC. Just the opinion of a dedicated fan. =)

I absolutely understand (I'm usually very adamant about characters being *in* character) but this was something I wanted to experiment on, to see what he'd look like with a whacking great grin :-D

Don't like FF at all, but I DO like this pic. The only critisism I got is that his face could have done with a bit more shading, to show he's looking down. I love his hair, though, as well as that cute looking smile. I also like the single hint of colour in his eyes, too. Cool stuff.

I see what you mean about the shading, thanks for pointing it out - however my aim was to keep shading minimal.

I saw this image when you uploaded the earlier version - but declined to comment then, for which I apologize - and while the flat hair had its own charm, the shading you added to it really makes it stand out. I love the simplicity of this image, and yet it does seem absolutely complete. The face is wonderfully drawn and there doesn't seem to a line out of place. I must say, I did like the colorization you had on the older version, but this reworking is beautiful in B&W, as well. Very nicely done.
