OR you can right-click and select "view image". This is 300 px/in, which is the lowest resolution you can get a decent print off of though I DO NOT, NEVER HAVE, AND NEVER WILL sell fanart prints we DO have a poster printer here at the house so I can run posters from my digital art and actually get to SEE what it looks like in the real world. I don't want to have to save stuff in multiple resolutions. This way you can see details and also look at it in the size I work and edit in.
BTW this is the gallery I use for my original stuff, too, I'm still assembling it after a screen name switch.
I don't only do FLCL stuff, I swear. It's just pretty much the only series that I am actually compelled to do FANART for-I really am not much of a fan artist, I prefer my own characters.
I watch [as] but don't keep up with any of the anime they play, none at ALL. I like Death Note but the story moves slow and I've read the first eight books at least two or three times each (I used to work in a Books-a-Million at the coffee counter and I read the manga during slow times and lunch breaks) so I'm pretty well bored with that- FLCL I HAVE and I don't much care for the English dub. LOL. Be that as it may, the other day (like a couple months ago) I was suffering from lack of inspiration and decided that I should start doing fanart of characters with series that run on CN or [as] interacting. I haven't seen any for a while, but CN used to have little station identifiers/commercials/whatever with all of the cartoon characters at "work" together. Shortly thereafter I was browsing dA and found one of my older fanart pictures in one of the clubs, it's Haruko and Naota in this same position with the frame of his bunk making the frame of the picture, which is something I liked about the picture, so I redrew it.

No...but he's also obviously bigger than that bed was made to handle-look how short it is. Maybe just a convenient spot for Haruko to toss him in after an ambush, or a place they were discussing a case (Haruko being a detective as well, at least she CLAIMS to be)...Hmmm, maybe at some point in the future I'll prompt for a story explaining how they got there, with art as a reward, of course *wanders off, plotting*
