a fanart of chibi chibi and setsuna meioh aka sailor pluto..

sorry this was taken through a phone camera, which explains the image quality..

anyway, i tried to draw chibi chibi older with longer hair.. and of course, setsuna is the time keeper so she never gets old.. my first time drawing setsuna turned out fine.. =^^=

Aww, how sweet! I like the soft fuzziness from the camera. It make it look so much cuter and more unique.

lol.. is that a compliment? i never dared to copy-trace any drawing coz that wouldnt get me anywhere.. i try to put my own style on setsuna because i've drawn lots of girls with long hair in that same eye size.. here's the original eyes of setsuna and i hope u see the difference clearly.. ^^

her's is sort of square-ish.. mine's kinda like stretched and u cant even define whether her eyes are looking towards the right corner or the center.. XD

i appreciate the comment though... ^^

it's alright.. it's just that, sometimes, people say some stuff that may sound accusing and then u feel hurt because after all the effort done, people see it as something else.. that's also why i dont do fanarts lately.. especially with the same pose as the original because some people think it's been traced/copied although the difference and amateurish skills are obvious.. it's hard to deal with people who thinks like that.. by seeing multiple works of mine, i hope to change their opinion and start seeing my own style in every fanart i draw... it's ok.. apology accepted.. it's just a misunderstanding on my part.. ^^;

lol.. i wouldnt say "better than naoko-san".. im grateful for her drawings which shaped me as an artist.. i appreciate it though.. ^^
