The second page of my series of rough-draft works. This one REALLY needs work, and was sketched pretty quickly. The first panel especially. I tried a variety of things, but nothing really worked. Oh well, I'll fix it eventaully!
So, what's happened here: My OC, Ryouko, stepped in the way of Sasuke's sword to save Sakura. The largets panel completely sucks, and needs work. But, rough draft, I can get away with it this time!
Dialogue:
Panel 2: (kof) (hack) (GRAB)
Panel 5: Ryouko-san...Y-you took the stirke? F-for me? Don't die! Please!
Panel 6: Sasuke...Never hit a lady...You spineless coward! (foff koff)
So, when drawing a weapon try using a ruler to make it look straight. You should also try using weaponry effects to give the character motion such as adding sweeping curves or wind around the weapon. That's what I've learned, but I haven't really used the advice.
By the way I really like how the Sakura came out in this drawing, I can't wait to see the end result to this. ^^
