Pheral, FAC's official mascot (chosen by FAC's members via vote) :)

This is the original design for Pheral (and the one originally used for the site's logo and whatnot). :P
Was trying to play with different styles at the time -- I mostly drew "anime/manga" style at the time and didn't think that the FAC mascot should necessarily be in the same style.

the original design here, you mean?
Just changes. They redesigned the site and decided to go with a different illustrative style for the new site.
I've actually seen a couple other versions of this guy floating around the web (and I wish they'd use one of those, actually. something about the eyes on the current one don't look quite right to me).

I agree, the eyes aren't right. I think he's really simple too.. but it's alright :o

I was somewhat going for a simple design, but this was also YEARS ago that I drew this (not a personal favorite, for sure lol)
