Ugh, the frustration in this picture... I slave away on just the pencil sketch for a week, working around all the craziness at home, my friend coming to visit for two days, everyone in the world wanting to chill that week, and my lack of inspiration. Then, apparently, there are mistakes (as this was something of a request, something of a favor...), so I had to go and correct those, despite that I had determined that I was not going to change ANYTHING. So I change that, I deal with having to draw boots AGAIN (look at my last posted pic- you'll see what I mean), ink it, and then take FOREVER working on a color scheme which is not kind to my shitty colored pencils.
*end rant*
All in all, I do like the way it came out though. It wasn't my character design, but I tried to work with it, and I guess it worked in the end. The weights on his arms and legs are inspired by the weights that they use in the movie, Mulan, to climb that bigass pole thing. In a nutshell, they serve no purpose other than calming the poor guy's fears that when he uses this gravity altering power of his, he'll fall into the sky. He's paranoid. But apparently a genius. *shrugs* Idk. Not really my character. Gonna be used in the story on my account though.
That was the single longest description I've ever written.
