Thanks! detail can be a great thing, but there's something to be said about it. First of all, in reality, the way the human eye sees, only one thing at a time can be seen in full detail (the focal point.) Only a photograph or digital screen can display images in 100% focus at the same time, so truly realistic artworks put full detail on one thing, and then blur out more and more away from it.
Also detail has to do with the size of an image. If you make a really big drawing or painting, you have room for lots of detail. Then if you take a picture of it and post it online, the picture is going to be alot smaller. This will make it look unbelieveably detailed and realistic, but if you saw it in real life, the details would actually look very big and easier to achieve.
I'm not shooting down your comment, or high detail art work. Thank you very much for noticing the details. I just wanted to point something out.
Ah I should mention that it was difficult to photograph. It's not behind glass but the waxy color pencils made a shiny spot no matter what I did. (No flash was used.)
Also u might notice a while square at the top/middle/left. That's an untouched piece I just havnt bothered to fill in yet. I wanna get a frame first. I dunno why..
WONDERFULL!!!
