CRwixey
Poor old Farfetch’d, if only he could evolve. He wouldn’t be so rubbish then. Still, what are the chances of him turning into a sushi-themed Pokemon?
He’s got a bandana made out of seaweed (Nori); King Prawn-like markings on his body (which turned out nothing like they were supposed to, bah); Futomaki roll armour, and a crest made of dill. And the coloured markings on his tail feathers are supposed to look like Hosomaki filled with yellow pepper, cucumber, and red pepper. And he mangles his foes up real nice with his chopsticks… yes, you’re probably right; I’m a nutcase. ^^
The name was a combination of ‘paradox’ and ‘dux’, paradox being an inconsistency or illogicality, and dux being the nickname of the Farfetch’d you can get in the original Red/Blue Pokemon games. I always thought he was called that because he was a duck, but the dictionary says Dux is Latin for ‘leader’. So, er, whichever makes the most sense. 0_o
