I did this in 200 hrs straight, just taking bathroom breaks and I kept a stash of food near by in a mini fridge... Ok no, i didnt do that. I worked about 6-10 hours at a time and only during suitable free time. And when you consider school and work, and even other artwork that has priority over something I'm just doing for fun, creation of this piece stretched over the course of about 2 years.
0.0 *stunned* S-simply amazing! Perfect! I love your interpretation of Alice in wonderland! So much detail, I personally think this deserves to be fetured.
Thank you so much for the compliment. I do want to make clear though that this idea is not my original interpretation of Alice in Wonderland. The artwork is entirely mine, but this concept comes from American McGee's Alice. Just to be clear! Thankyou though. Comments and feedback are much apreciated!
Sugoi! This is so amazing! All of that detail is so impressive and I simply can not believe you did that in colored pencils! You must have the best pencils in the world....could you tell me what brand? x3 Anyway great job!
Thanks alot! The colored pencils are high quality, but they're the standard professional brand. I used Prismacolor Colored Pencils, and built them up really thick with color layering to achieve this.
you see I have that brand and my scanner makes them look horrible! either way you are very talented and I don't think I could acheive that level of coloring >.<!
Haha, no I'm not selling this. Someone wanted it for $10,000 but they weren't in the market for that. ha kinda weird. But I dont want money, I want the picture.
Really the only reason I made it is because there aren't any American McGee's official posters available. So I made my own...
