I decided to give Mai a bit of a new look. The only think that really has changed is she looks a little older and her hakama is purple instead of red. The inspiration for this pose came from a Sailor Moon picture I saw once.

Very nice! She has an almost gentle look to her (though I could be wrong.....Looks can be deceiving, ne?)
