Maybe its the romantic in me, but I like to explore Alucard's softer side (what little of one there is) and thinking on ten years ago, poor little 10yrold Integral has no family now! So she has to lean on Alucard and Walter for support. I expect that Alucard is something a little more special to her because he saved her, not like a father, I can't imagine Alucard playing the father figure, but at the very least as stability. He'll always be there be he polite or not. That's what I was thinking when I drew this.

This is so sweet... I do similar things, exploring a softer side... somehow, I can picture him as a father figure. With a made up charrie, who is about 5 years old... yeah. Hard to explain. Weird me... Anyways, I love it like I love all your work!

I adore this! I see it the same way, really. Alucard can be a real jerk (as is his nature), but there must be SOME softer side within him for a few of the little... odd things he does that are so totally "out of character" for him...
