This is something I did in late 1999 or early 2000 (I can only clean it up so much). Early in the morning Fox showed new adventures of Jonny Quest called “The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest”. I came up with my own character called of course James. I didn’t want to just draw him alone so I found a picture of them in a magazine, I drew it the best I could since the way they are drawn is not the style I draw. But I managed to draw my character right next to them.
The character James Ram was someone who was only one year older than Jonny and was going to be either their greatest ally (someone who helps them from the shadows) or their greatest enemy. A character called Rick in a short anime film called “Zillion: Burning Night” is where I got the look for the character. I also based the characters looks off of me… well… a little.
I wanted to write a story about this character but at the time I didn’t have a computer and I didn’t know any sites that had fan fiction stories. I may still write a story about this.
Jonny: ”You again! Just who are you James?”
James: “That will have to wait Jonny. Right now you must come with me!”
Jonny: “Why? Are we in danger?”
James: “Yes!”
Jonny: “From what?”
James: “Your asking too many questions, we must go!!”
Jonny: “But--“
Jessie: “Jonny, James has already proven himself to be on are side. Lets go!”
