Their laughter died when they realized how close they were to each other, with Sweeney’s back still pressed against the wall and Gabriel practically leaning onto him.
Sweeney’s eyes were large and intense and it almost hurt the hunter to look at them.
Suddenly all the worry, all the loneliness, and all of the sorrow hit Gabriel all at once and the new rush of feeling made him do something that surprised them both.
He leaned forward quickly and captured Todd’s lips.
Sweeney’s eyes widened, but he didn’t pull away as the hunter had expected. Instead, he pulled Van Helsing closer and tangled his fingers in the long brown waves of his hair.
The kiss deepened as Sweeney opened his mouth, granting Van Helsing the desired entry. Both tongues fought for dominance, neither man caring who won, just as long as they had the opportunity to battle.
Sweeney moaned softly as Van Helsing growled and took the barber’s wrists in a furious grip that excited them both and slammed them to the wall.
Sweeney’s legs lifted off of the floor and wound themselves around the hunter’s waist, grinding into him and pulling them closer together.
For my dear friend, 'cause she's the tard who had me pair these two together long enough for a make-out session in our big crossover fic "The Dark I Know Well".
In this scene from chapter five, Van Helsing kind of loses it for a brief moment and Sweeney let's him pin him up to the wall for a few minutes, but that's all it is. Van Helsing ends up with Carl, but he has this weird crush on Sweeney Todd for a while before that happens. Poor Gabriel, Todd turned you down in the end, but you have a Carl!
