You may know them from their own popular illustrated books. They were popular in the 80's anyway. I used these characters in a D & D adventure involving fractured realities. Naturally, they brought their own Romans with them. It was less funny than I hoped, since nobody in my player group knew who they were. Anyway, I was pleased with how Obelix turned out, but Asterix was harder to render in a more realistic style. Asterix is the short one, for those who don't know.
