The contest is about one's good memory from summer.
My sister and I spend summer going to the beach. We are Spanish and we live in Malaga. We usually go to Malagueta beach because is the closer one to where we live.
I sculpted my sister and myself as xiyo characters:

I used plastilina jovi (kind ok modelling paste akin to clay)
The backgrounds are photograph of Malagueta Beach.
The pictures depict what we do when we go to the beach. We swim in the sea, we sunbath and we love eating ice-creams.
These pics depicts also two good summer memories. The summer memory of going to Malagueta Beach and the memory of the time when I used to sculpt the xiyos every summer to play with them when I was younger. As I've said some times before, I used to sculpt my own toys. Now I only sculpt xiyos for fun and for artistic purposes but I don't have enough time to go on playing with them.
hehe... Neatos! It looks like you had a ton of fun at the beach! I used to live in Michigan where no matter were you live, there's a body of water no more than five miles away from where you are. So we used to walk to the beach a lot. But now I dun live there and I don't get to swim as much, but it's still fun ^^ It's too bad it's like winter now and there won't be any more of that D= Anyways, the concept is awesomeness! I like how you did the xiyo underwater effect too, even though I don't think it would do well underwater in reality.
