I am so immensely proud of this piece. I put a lot into it. So…let’s talk about it!
Firstly, from a glance you can see what appears to be a desktop covered in pictures and items. Let’s discuss the items first. I wanted items to portray each character, so I had to think of an item that really means SOMETHING in comparison to the characters. Let’s start with Slike. His item is the metal hand in the top right corner of the screen. In my first official series (I’m on my second currently) Slike lost his arm. It was replaced with an automaton creation. So here, we see a screwdriver, cogs, and springs, sitting next to the hand, almost like it was there naturally to be repaired. Kunza’s item is Twizzlers. Through out the series, he is constantly munching on them. Air’s item is the cross, which was given to her by a boy that she loved, so it is quite obviously her symbolic item. Megan’s the final item, a bullet on a chain. In the first series, she was shot, but kept the bullet once it was removed as a sort of ‘good luck charm’. The pictures are easily explained. The first has the entire group, most likely around Patch Village somewhere. The bottom left shows Kunza and Slike playing video games (Slike is beating Kunza BADLY) There’s a picture of Air and Megan, as well as a photo booth slide of pictures. This picture is really important to me…and I love it. <3
