(Just a few quick notes before we move on... one, I don't think I'll ever use Deighlan or Lutz in any stories... Deighlan just came to me tonight, mostly because I liked the image of her I had in my head. Two, I'm not all that much of a JakxKeira fan, but Lutz did need a mother, and she was the only appropriate character. Forgive me on that, but it worked. I need to draw Lutz... in my mind, he is t3h s3xx0rz.)<br />

Personality: Cocky, smart-assed, arrogant, and wise-cracking are just a few of the words used by those who know her to describe Deighlan. While at heart, she is a very affectionate, charming young woman, she has a wild side more daring than anything her father or her mother ever did combined. Despite her roguish charm, she still has to act somewhat proper... her mother is the governor of the city, after all!<br />

Backstory: Deighlan is the only child of Torn and Ashelin, born shortly after the war against the Metal Heads and Baron Praxis ended. She was raised well and wanted for nothing, raised along-side all of the orphans Rayne and Mihk cared for as well as Jak and Keira's son, Lutz (pronounced "loots"). Quick to make friends, Deighlan stuck with all of them rather readily, even though she always said Lutz is "a total putz". She trained in fighting under both her mother and her father and learned both gunplay and knife sparring. She is very fighty, while Lutz is her perfect opposite...<br />

Weaknesses: extremely cocky... is a good fighter, but not as good as she'd like a lot of people to believe. she suffers from her father's volatile temper coupled with her mother's cynical mind. while she tries to put on the persona of the heartless ice queen, she is in truth very soft-hearted, and while she won't admit it to anyone, she is terrified of the sight of blood.<br />

Extra Information: Being Torn and Ashelin's daughter, most people look for her to take one of two jobs when she marries: the governor like her mother, or the commander of the KG like her father.<br />

While at the Hoobastank concert tonight, watching all these girls in their punkish little outfits go by, the idea for Lanlan (which is what Lutz and Daxter both call her, much to her chagrin) began to formulate in my head. I saw her fighting to the sound of much of the music, and soon, watching the lead singer, Lutz started to develop as well.<br />

While I may never write a story involving Deighlan and Lutz, I am going to have some random art of them, because Deighlan has a design I very much like and Lutz (in my head) is gorgeous.<br />

Deighlan follows the pattern of her parents very much. She knows how to use a gun, but Daddy taught her how to use knives, and she is very proficient with them. In the original of this, she had a strap on her arm with three mini-daggers on it, but I erased it in this lineart.<br />

Quirks: forearm is too long.<br />
