Personality: Stoic, determined, straight-foreward, and blunt are some of the best words that could be used to describe Jalen. A calm man, he is a captain in the KG under Erol, and he has a great deal of respect for both him and for Baron Praxis. Strangely enough, he is *extremely* superstitious. He holds a great deal of respect for Onin despite his rank and position, and will sometimes visit the old soothsayer in his off-hours to pay his respects and ask for advice. This annoys his superiors, but his fighting skill more than makes up for his oddities.<br />

Backstory: Raised in what little housing there is in the bazaar section of Haven City, Jalen was the oldest of four children, all boys. His father, a Krimzon Guard before him, taught him and all of his brothers how to fight from an early age. All of the boys were taught to live as they saw fit, whether it be for or against the Baron. Jalen, at first, was confused about his path, but he visited the Soothsayer near their home, and was told by Onin just one thing: "be true to your past." Having no past of his own, he referred to his father then, and sought to join the Krimzon Guard. He climbed rank rather easily with his fighting skill, and despite his notions of spirituality and the fight, he proved to be a worthy asset to the Baron's cause.<br />

Weaknesses: extremely superstitious. a very sore loser. even when he's losing a fight pretty obviously, he will not back down (read: like the Black Knight in "Search for the Holy Grail"). while he is not afraid of water, he is terrified of drowning and is extremely skittish around areas where there is deep water. seems to be extremely distrusting of anyone outside of his superiors. even his fellow members in the guard are subject to his paranoia.<br />

Extra Information: Jalen is an extremely talented fighter. He trains almost constantly. His skills can best be compared to wushu. He is beatable, of course, but he doesn't like to think that.<br />

Anyway, this is Jalen. He was pretty much based on Jet Li, but only vaguely. He is a loyal KG. And by loyal I really do mean loyal. I was coloring when the mood struck me to draw him. Now, I'll go back to coloring. ~_~<br />

Arms are off, legs look funny (but that might be his pants). Other than that, this is okay.<br />
