SasukesGirl01, you are right that the manga says that Haku is of "indeterminable gender" but while Haku is talking to Naruto in volume 3, Naruto's heart starts beating fast and Haku says "Oh, and just so you know, I'm a boy" okay! I'm done now!

I think Haku's head shape is a bit wierd--its too long and kind of curves to the right, at the top. Also, the way his clothes are colored don't really fit the background. You could try making the folds of his cloth smaller, using a smaller brush on the clothes (to match the style for the background,) and having different levels of shading for some of the shadows on the cloth. Making all the folds of the cloth have a consistant tone/shade is a bit unrealistic :)

And I just can't express how much I love the background.
