^ ^ Your nice tutorial has some controversy going on! I always start with the eyes, profile or not, and the girl who taught me starts witht the outline of the face. It's ok both ways I think. Personally I believe anyone who can draw a beautiful profile like you've done is a very talented artists, b/c profiles aren't at all easy. One little thing can mess up proportion. It's great, and I know a lot of other people are going to appriciate it and probably learn from it!
btw, I am LOVING your little chibi down there!

To any un-nice reviewers out there, what happened to the policey of agreement thingy allowing you to sign up for this website, eh? How about where it said NO FLAMES, EH? (yeah, I read those, and yeah, I'm Canadian, deal with it.) Well, personally, I think any people whoe put up tutorials aren't doing just for their sake, they're probably doing it for your sake too. Incase you haven't noticed, there are tutorial sections for users and non-users to come check out how other people draw stuff and see any tips or guidelines they might have for drawing certain things. *takes deep breath and continues* So what if people draw differently than you, me, or martians from outspace!?! It's how they draw. Deal with that too! Like cptShort said:- If the end result is how it was intended to be, it is NOT incorrect. Narrow mindedness kills creativity.
ANNND: In the policey agreement thingy, I think it said (pardon me laziness for not re-checking) something about constant flamers being banded and what-not.

By the way, I stink at drawing, I think I'll try this! It'll take some practise (no duh), but I'm open to anything and everything.
*gasps, pants, and dies from lack of air*

This looks beautiful, it's an interesting style and sequence of drawing... stuff. It's good. ^_^;;

To Black-Bird and Piccolo89, if the end result is how it was intended to be, it is NOT incorrect. Narrow mindedness kills creativity. (>:P)

This actually helped me alot. :D I've never tried starting from the eye in a profile before, and it's alot easier. It took me 30 seconds to do a completed profile of a pretty girl! (Although it happened to be on something else I was scribbling *grumblegroan*) Keep up the goo work, and MAKE MORE!

Holy crap. This is interesting...Well, I learned a lot because I have always sucked at profiles so this was very helpful to me. I don't know why everybody is bashing Beginner150, she/he went to the trouble to help people learn how to draw a face and the least they can do is say something nice. If this is her/his tyle, then that's nice, that's the way she likes to draw. I like to start with the face when I draw but I found that with her help, it was easy to start with the eyes. Thatnk you so much for posting this up here and helping me out! ^_^

I agree with those who said that a good compliment isn't so hard to give. This tutorial is very cool, very cool indeed! And, if this isn't how you normally draw, then that's alright, no one's ORDERING you to draw these way. I don't draw this way either, but this is definely some tips I will be using in the future. I also agree that there is no right way to draw. Everyone has diffferent styles that they should experiment with and claim as there own. Heck, if there was a 'right way', then believe me, we ALL would be breaking that law. It ALWAYS good to experiment with somethin' new, and, I feel, Beginner150 was giving others different ways to do the same thing, which is totally something an true artist should always look for. Remember: Your never to good to learn something knew.

Sorry for the rant, just need to get that off my chest.

ANYWHO, Great Tutorial!!! Definely gonna use tips like this next time I draw! /+favs!/

ByE!

Nice tutorial. But I find it pretty hard to start from the eye to the face. Anyway, what I think what Black Bird really meant was that it's hard to draw as good as you with no guidlines. It may be easy for you to draw from just empty space, but for others (including myself), have to break down the body and face into circles and cylindars.

I find that much easier to use, personally. I can't draw that well like that without guidlines. -.-

Anyway, good job on explaining on what to do. And the technical term for the fold on the eye in step 4 is eyelid. ^_^ Hoping to see more art!

I agree with Ice_Blue_Ishida it's not going to kill them to say something nice on a good tutorial. Geez I can't belive them, but anyways this tutorial is good I don't do exactly like you but it depends from time to time and the drawing I am going to do, sometimes the head first then the eyes and sometimes your way or the one I used a lot a few months ago, everything that has to do with the head last because it was hard, but I'm better now so yeah. ^-^

This is a good tutorial and I am going to fav it so other people can see your good work, I think I have used up both your time and space now ^-^ Well See Ya when you do the next tutorial. ^-^

Yes I am one of thoses rare always gives a nice review reviewer. ^-^ But I mean this don't think anything ells.

geez, It must really kill some people on this site to give a good compliment. No matter what the tutorial, it can always be used as a template for your own preference. Good tutorial. definatly going to use this in the future, keep the good work up. Btw, if you plan to do the boys tutorial, I can't wait to see it (that's if you haven't already done it)
You've got good talent, and that can take you really far in the future.
Keep practicing!

There isn't any right or wrong way to draw, it's up to you how you draw, personally I start drawing from the eyes like you, I find starting by face doesn't work for me. It's a good tut:)

Not the right way to draw....
Well, everyone has different styles in which they draw. To me there is no real 'right way'. There are just some people with no talent.

no. It's not the right way to draw.
People keep winging drawings and end up with a mess. Like my little sister. SHE WON'T listen.
