"I remember so little about my life, but I know you were important... in a way no one else I've seen is. I don't know what made me forget a pretty girl like you, Rayne... but I don't intend to forget you again."

Tears came to her eyes as he spoke. She knew his voice so well. Mihk. Her Mihk. Her Mihk kissing her forehead, wrapping his coat around her, holding her tightly like he had before. He was really home.

She started to cry as he held her. Tears of joy fell from her eyes as he told her it was okay... he was there. Maybe it wasn't the same. Maybe he didn't remember her. But that wasn't what mattered. What mattered is he wanted to, and he wanted to be there.

Her fingertips traced the tattoos that adorned his face. He had decided to stay with the KG under Ashelin, but no longer was the KG required to be a horrible force of evil. It was Ashelin that had brought them back together again.

Smiling, she rested her head against Mihk's chest. She was home.

I figured that since I'd given Lucia such a positively terrible life and a very sad ending, it was only fair that my other "Jak II" OC got a happy ending. Or sort of happy, anyway. Reunited with her three years lost husband, Mihk. Mihk's changed a little from the wedding picture... note the addition of the tell-tale Krimzon Guard tattoos. But he admits at one point that he never was a good soldier... he cared too much about the people he killed. He was just lucky to have gotten out alive.

Mihk and Rayne are c/o me. The Krimzon Guard is c/o Naughty Dog and Sony.

Two request pictures are complete. I'll have them up sometime tomorrow!

This pic is so beautiful, just like all of the others. I really love Rayne, she such a wonderful character! I can't wait until you update Beholden To Nothing, that way I'll get to find out everything about what happens in the fic! ^.^
