Jocasta

Two of my Vampires - Lieros (left; ancient Greek) and Valen (right; ancient Roman).

I wanted to convey something like a time lapse, which is why the line/shading isn't particularly sharp. It's more of a dreamlike image than a snapshot of a scene.

Said time lapse occurs in the mind of Lieros, who is hiding something from his friend/superior.

You'll find out once the novel gets published... *in like 5 decades, at the rate it's going* XD

These two look like interesting chars, i love their names to, Lieros' eyes are very striking against the monotone mood of the pic. GAWD i love it 8D

You're just simply amazing at shading and lineart. The hair really blows my mind, too. I wish I had half of your talent, or even a fourth. :-/

Beautiful. Incredible! The gray-scale conveys to the dreamlike appearance of this picture. I love how Lieros' eyes are so startling against the grays, blacks and white in this picture. I'm suitably impressed with this picture and shall begin to scan the bookshelves for your novel. All hail Jocasta, author and artist extraordinaire!
