Just out of curiosity, How the hell do you get such clean lines in your work? I try like hell to get that type of linework and it just shows up very crappy. I love your stuff and wish I could be half the artist you are. DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!
My 'technique', if I can call it that, is a combination of a few things. I use a HB graphite. It's pretty light, and I draw quite lightly as well, so the lines are quite hard to see and easy to erase if I want to. On top of that, I kind of know where I want the lines to go, so the lines from my construction to my 'final' lines don't change very much. Usually there aren't too many stray lines. It all gets used. If there is, I just erase what I don't want, and because I use a light lead it's not too much of a bother to get rid of them.
The last thing is, I just try to take my time. I have a tendency to rush a lot of the time, but if I take my time and go at a casual pace then things don't get as messy.
Thanks for your words. ^_^ The more you draw, the better you'll get. The stuff I was drawing a couple of years ago was horrible, but I just kept going anyway and I've made a bit of improvement in areas. So, it's just time.
O_O My goodness this is EPIC! I love the flowing windiness. THe details!!! The stances!!! THE WEAPONS!!! G, I swear, people should bow to you when they mass you on the street. Oh dear goodness...the grass and rocks are beautiful *swoon*
