March 22, 2008 - Jocasta

So, good things about this sketch:
- I got a character right on the first attempt. LOL.
- My sketching/shading skills appear to have progressed some.
- It is rather refreshing not to draw your typical bishie boy from time to time.
- Angeal is awesome.

Bad things:
- It ain't my goddamn character. AGAIN.
- The paper was, in short, facking *rubbish* and much Photoshop editing was required to remove blemishes and creases.
- The drawing itself is about the size of my hand. XD

But still... Angeal doesn't get enough scope. So there you have it. The reference I used was utterly dreadful so I had to use my imagination for most of it.
(...InfamousBusterSwordNotIncludedBecauseCannotDrawIt.)

Was done out of boredom during a "power cut" by the landline maitenance guys (which we were waiting all day for but never actually happened. Oh ho ho ho. -_-)

Azmagawd! lol, despite all the bad things you listed, this pic came out great, you got his intense stare perfectly, AMAZING! and i love the lips ^3^

The hair looks so life-like, despite being in black and white. I wish I can draw hair as good as your draw it. Nice pic overall, though.

Your drawings amaze me, they really do. The shading and hair just seem so complex to me.
