OMG
I still really hope the contest is going on!! WHAT HAPPENED WAS: I drew the picture, but since I don't have a scanner, I thought I should wait for the time when I might go to my cousins house (because she has a scanner) but that never happened, and when I saw she was only giving us a week left, I new I just had to take a picture of it.
The lighting isn’t great, but oh well.
SO AFTER I GET MY PICTURE, guess what? THAT’S RIGHT! MY INTERNET STOPS WORKING!! JOY!!! But I finally got it fixed so I can submit this, finally.
I know you didn’t require a backround, but I really felt like coloring that day.
Well, about the character,
She is based off of me; I guess my own magro-self (I wish I was that skinny ><)
Anyways her/my personality and/or backstory: an anti-social by choice, she wasn't shunned or banished, she just doesn't like people. She almost never smiles, and never seems friendly. She doesn’t seem crazy, but nobody pays her any mind. She lives with one other person, or dog should I say. A white Chihuahua puppy named Bella is the only company she likes. Even though Bella is a dog, she still talks to Bella as if Bella were a human. She takes care of Bella as if she were a baby. She is an apothecary/doctor, and spends most of the day in the forests and wilderness with Bella, collecting different herbs and spices she uses in healing potions (or in this case, a different type of potion).
In one case she gathers bits of a certain type of cotton looking plant. She carefully places it in her palms, and then rubs it together whispering some words. After which, she places the weaved, yet slightly stringy object on the branch of a small tree, like an ornament. Suddenly, the weaved cotton starts to move; it wriggles and twitches, until out pops a butterfly. The butterfly slowly crawls out of the “man-made” chrysalis, then rests on the branch and stretches out its newly formed wings. At last the leaps off the low branch it formed on, and as it takes its first graceful little flutters across the air, CHOMP! Bella eats it. Hobz gives Bella a few pats on the head as she says, “good girl!” and walks off to gather more herbs for potions.
Hobz lives deep in the forest, in a small house next to a giant redwood tree. Almost as an add on to her house, is the doctors office, with one cot and several shelves full of healing potions. For some reason I think she’d end up having Onceler as her only magro friend. He, an outcast, she, a loner. Plus she can help out with his scars!
although a magros source of magic comes from their nub the charm on her neck is a greater source (her main source) who knows? that might have a backstory!
